The report has claimed that the Hammers are trying to include the striker in a deal for Declan Rice.
Arsenal are keen on securing the services of England international midfielder Rice in the summer of 2023.
Football Transfers have reported that Arsenal want Balogun to be part of manager Mikel Arteta’s squad for pre-season and then take it from there.
According to the report, Arsenal “have refused to combine their academy graduate as part of the Rice deal due to that fact that discussions on the new US international’s future are still ongoing.”

In our opinion, if Arsenal are able to sign Declan Rice for a cheaper price if they include Folarin Balogun in a deal with West Ham United, then they should do it.
Yes, the striker did well during his loan spell at Reims last season, but if Arteta is unable to use him on a regular basis in the starting lineup, then there is no point in keeping him.
After all, Arsenal are about to sign Kai Havertz in the summer transfer window.
