Arsenal have rejected two bids in the region of £20 million from Leicester City for defender Calum Chambers, according to the BBC.
According to Sky Sports, the Foxes have had a long standing interest in the defender, although it is unclear the club will revisit their offer to push the deal through before deadline day is over.
Leicester City have already signed central defender Harry Maguire from Hull City this season, and the 24-year-old has started the season brilliantly for the former Premier League champions earning himself an England call-up.

Leicester are undoubtedly looking for a player who would provide competition to captain Wes Morgan, and seem to have identified Calum Chambers as the primary option.
But according to The Daily Mail, Leicester will not make any further offers and will turn their attention to other alternatives.
Chambers has had a topsy turvy spell at Arsenal after signing from Southampton back in 2014, but had a relatively successful spell on loan at Middlesbrough.

Arsenal have already rebuffed bids for the defender earlier in the window from Crystal Palace, and value the centre back in the region of £27 million. But, it is clear that the former Saints man will not get a lot of playing time this season at the Emirates, with the likes of Rob Holding ahead of him in the pecking order.
