Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing the Besiktas ace.

According to a report from the London Evening Standard, Arsenal are weighing up a last-minute £26.9 million swoop for Besiktas centre-back Domagoj Vida.
The Gunners have already bolstered their options considerably this summer, bringing in five new faces, with Unai Emery moving fast to address glaring weaknesses in his squad.
Defence is still an area that needs to be addressed, however, with question marks hanging over Shkodran Mustafi’s head, Calum Chambers’ recent loan exit and Laurent Koscielny not expected to be back and available for selection until the new year.
And Emery is reportedly keen to address that issue with a late £26.9 million swoop for Besiktas centre-back Domagoj Vida, according to the London Evening Standard.

The Croatia international would bring a certain level of tenacity and aggression to Arsenal’s back-line, and it would be hard to argue that he wouldn’t improve them as a defensive unit.
In today’s day and age, the reported fee of £26.9 million represents excellent value for someone with Vida’s quality, and if Emery manages to bring him to the Emirates before tomorrow’s 5pm deadline, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for Arsenal.
