Mesut Ozil has played just four games for Arsenal across all competitions this term.

Ozil has regularly been overlooked by the Arsenal boss this term, with the German international often left out of match day squads.
Ozil has come back into contention at Arsenal more recently, and has started in Emery’s side’s last two matches.
However, his continued omissions in early months of the campaign has reportedly caused confusion with the Gunners squad.
Arsenal’s players apparently feel that Ozil has a lot to offer to the side, and cannot understand why he was being shut out.
Whether Emery will now give Ozil a run of games to prove his worth remains to be seen, but it seems that the Spanish boss has strong reservations over using the playmaker.

Ozil’s appearance against Wolves last weekend was just his fourth of the season in all competitions.
Emery is now fighting to save his job at the Emirates Stadium, with Arsenal next in action against Vitoria in the Europa League tomorrow.
