Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal or Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United could reportedly be able to sign Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Wharton for £15 million.
Arsenal, Newcastle United and Everton all have been linked with Adam Wharton of Blackburn Rovers in the summer transfer window.
The Sun reported in May that Arsenal, Leicester City and Newcastle United all have scouted Wharton in action for Blackburn.
The same publication are now reporting that Everton manager Sean Dyche is ready to make a bid for the midfielder.
Newcastle are also determined to secure the services of the teenager and could send him back on loan to Blackburn for next season.
And, according to The Sun, Blackburn will sell Wharton for £15 million in guaranteed transfer fees.

Should Arsenal or Newcastle United pay £15m for Adam Wharton?
In our opinion, Arsenal and Newcastle United should not rush into making a bid of £15 million for Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Wharton.
Yes, the 19-year-old is a very promising young player, but he has been playing in the Championship, not in the Premier League.
And £15 million is a lot of money to spend on a 19-year-old who may not get a chance in the first team for a while and who is still growing and developing as a footballer.
Arsenal are now in a position to build on their success of last season and really push on.
Newcastle will play in the UEFA Champions League next season and need to think of the immediate future and how to make the team better so that they become regulars in Europe’s premier club competition.
Wharton made 12 starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for Blackburn last season.
The 19-year-old English midfielder scored two goals and gave one assist in those games.
