Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are among the clubs linked with Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and it seems that they could be able to sign the Lazio midfielder for a bargain price.

According to journalist Niccolo Ceccarini in April 2023, Arsenal are favourites to secure the services of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the summer transfer window.

Back in March 2023, CMW reported that Liverpool are keen on signing the 28-year-old Serbia international midfielder.

Calciomercato are now reporting that Lazio could sell the Serbian for just €30 million (£26 million).

That would be an incredibly bargain price for a really good and established midfielder who is at the top of his game at the moment.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito told Il Messaggero in November 2022, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “Guess how much he’s worth – he scored a goal at the World Cup with his ankle injured, and he’s the best midfielder in the world.”

Arsenal and Liverpool should bid for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic

In our view, Arsenal and Liverpool should make bids for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic in the summer transfer window.

If £26 million is all it would take for Lazio to sell the Serbian, then Liverpool and Arsenal simply have to bid for him.

Liverpool do need one or two quality midfielders, especially as James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all are leaving at the end of the season.

As for Arsenal, the Gunners could do with signing a superb payer like Milinkovic-Savic who would make the North London club better and more competitive, not only in the Premier League but in the UEFA Champions League as well.
