Arsenal have offered Tanguy Kouassi a deal at the Emirates as the Paris Saint-Germain starlet closes in on a move away from the Ligue 1 champions, according to Le10 Sport.
Not many teenagers find themselves at the centre of a Europe-wide tug-of-war containing some of the biggest clubs in world football.
But Kouassi is the sort of talent who does not come around very often.
The fresh-faced Frenchman only made his PSG debut in December but, just seven months on, he has offers on the table from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and AC Milan.
An Arsenal side who snapped up another dazzling defensive talent from Ligue 1 less than 12 months ago, St Etienne’s William Saliba, are now on the chase for another.
Le10 Sport claims that Kouassi has been handed the chance to sign a contract with the Gunners, though it remains whether he will accept the chance to follow in the footsteps of Robert Pires, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira.
Arsenal look set to miss out on Champions League football after another year of underachievement.

But with Shkodran Mustafi, David Luiz, Sokratis and more all facing an uncertain future at the Emirates, North London could be the ideal destination if Kouassi is keen to show off his talents week-in, week-out.
Arsenal’s gain, meanwhile, would most certainly be PSG’s loss.
Coach Thomas Tuchel has been bowled over by a ‘great’ talent who had featured regularly for Les Parisiens before the 2019/20 season was cut short.
And, according to Calciomercato, PSG have offered Kouassi a five-year contract worth £9 million with just two weeks left on his current deal.
