They say that Mikel Arteta’s side are competing with Leeds United for the signature of the Moroccan defender.
Mazraoui has been a standout performer for Ajax this term, claiming four goals and two assists from his defensive berth.
As a right-back, if he was to join Arsenal, he could make a more attacking option than Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Tomiyasu has generally impressed since arriving at the Emirates Stadium, but he isn’t the most offensive minded of full-backs.

It would also give Arteta one of the most attacking full-backs combinations in the Premier League.
WIth Kieran Tierney or Nuno Tavares down the other side, Arsenal would have good options on both sides of their defence.
