Arsenal are aiming to get a deal for Achraf Hakimi wrapped up as soon as possible, according to AS Sport.
Arsenal are on the lookout for a long-term replacement for Hector Bellerin, who apparently is edging closer to an exit from the Emirates Stadium, and Hakimi is said to be firmly on their radar.
Indeed, reports in Spain claim that Mikel Arteta personally approves of the signing of the rapid right-back.
The problem for Arsenal is that Real Madrid have the first rights on signing Inter Milan, although the report adds that it is unlikely that Zinedine Zidane’s side will take up that option.
If Arsenal were to land Hakimi he would be a seriously appealing addition.
Hakimi and Kieran Tierney would be one of the most dynamic full-back combinations in the league and would certainly offer Arsenal a great deal of attacking threat.

The Brazilian Ronaldo actually called Hakimi an ‘extraordinary’ player (Gazetta Dello Sport) not too long ago, which rather highlights the quality he possesses.
And if Arsenal were to land him he would surely be an upgrade on Bellerin, who has been out of sorts this season.
