The Daily Mail have reported that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are willing to pay Bukayo Saka £200,000 per week as salary amid interest from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Bukayo Saka to sign new Arsenal contract worth £200,000 per week
The report has claimed that Saka has told Arsenal that he wants to stay at the Gunners and is willing to put pen to paper on a new contract.
“The principles of an agreement are believed to be in place,” according to the report, which has added that the 21-year-old England international winger will be paid in excess of £200,000-a-week, inclusive of bonuses.
The Daily Mail have reported that defending Premier League champions Manchester City are among the clubs monitoring Saka, described as “unique” by Arsenal legend Martin Keown in The Daily Mail.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Saka’s new contract with Arsenal will be until June 2028.
The Athletic have added that the new deal “may take some time to finalise”, but an agreement is in place.

Saka is one of the best young players in the world, and him committing his future to the Gunners shows where the club are going.
