Arsenal could look to sign Martin Odegaard on another loan deal, the Telegraph suggest.

Odegaard, who was described as ‘top quality’ by Unai Emery (Football London), appears to have become one of Arsenal’s top targets this summer after an impressive stint at the club since January.

The playmaker has injected creativity in Arsenal’s attack and is now fully versed in Mikel Arteta’s methods.

If he was brought back he wouldn’t have to have a transition period, as he is now settled at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Arsenal realise that affording a deal could be tough.

Real Madrid realise the value of the 22-year-old, which has only increased due to his showings in the Premier League.

It is now suggested that the possibility of another loan is a real one.

Arsenal took Dani Ceballos on two temporary spells from Real Madrid, and it seems that they could repeat the trick with Odegaard.

Not having the creator permanently would be a disappointment, as if he was to impress again, there would no guarantees he would stick around.

But the idea of another loan would at least keep Odegaard at the Emirates Stadium, and it could be a cost effective way in ensuring that Arsenal’s squad doesn’t weaken over the summer.
