According to Football London, PSG are looking at Mikel Arteta as an option to become their next manager.

Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG contract is up in the summer and amid Champions League disappointment and links to Manchester United, it seems likely that the Argentine will be moving on.

PSG will be in the market for a new gaffer, and one option they’re sounding out is Arteta.

Arteta of course knows the French club very well having turned out for PSG during his playing career, and now a return to Parc des Princes could be on the cards.

However, while PSG can attract some of the world’s biggest superstars such as Lionel Messi and Neymar, Arsenal are confident that Arteta will stay at the Emirates and sign a new contract with the north London outfit.

Arteta is building an interesting project at the Emirates, and he has an incredible young core of talent on his hands.

PSG would, of course, be a tempting prospect – which manager wouldn’t want to coach the likes of Messi, Angel Di Maria and Neymar? But for Arteta, overseeing the development of the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli may be a more enticing prospect.
