According to the Daily Star, Arsenal have been convinced that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is the man to take over from Arsene Wenger after he masterminded a win over Tottenham Hotspur.
The Gunners may have beaten Watford 3-0 on Sunday afternoon, but the pressure on manager Wenger remains, given that recent results have been disastrous and a top four finish is out of reach.
Arsenal fans are expecting Wenger to call time on his 22-year stint as Gunners boss, and the attention has turned to who his replacement could be this summer.
Now, it’s claimed that Arsenal have settled on Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri as their top choice to replace Wenger, having seen him mastermind a Champions League win over Tottenham Hotspur last week.

Allegri saw his Juventus side go 2-0 up in the first leg of their Champions League clash with Spurs, before drawing 2-2 as Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen begged Juve back.
Son Heung-min appeared to be sending Spurs through with the opening goal in the second leg last week, but Allegri switched up his tactics and turned the tie on its head, with Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala scoring to complete a comeback.
Allegri subsequently made himself very popular with Arsenal fans by knocking out rivals Tottenham, and the Gunners fans may get exactly what they want if the club get their way.
The Italian, 50, has won 71% of his games in charge of Juventus, winning three Serie A titles whilst taking the club to two Champions League finals, making him one of the top managers in Europe – and Arsenal may now hope to lure him away from Italy this summer.
