Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are reportedly determined to sign Galatasaray defender Sacha Boey.
According to Turkiye Gazetesi, Arsenal are interested in signing Sacha Boey from Galatasaray in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners have made a bid of €20 million (£17.20 million) for Boey, but his Turkish club are looking for €25 million (£21.50 million).
The report in the Turkish news outlet has claimed that Arsenal reman keen on the 22-year-old French right-back, described as “amazing” by former Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna in SportingPost in April 2023.
The Gunners are expected to make a new offer, according to the report, which has added that Arsenal do not want to miss out on the signing of Boey, who has interest from Brighton and Hove Albion as well.

Arsenal should pay up for Sacha Boey
In our view, if €5 million (£4.30 million) more is what it would take for Arsenal to sign Sacha Boey from Galatasaray in the summer transfer window, then they should pay it.
It is as simple as that.
Boey is 22 years of age and is a very good right-back.
There is room for the Frenchman to improve and grow, and under Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, he could.
Boey has scored one goal and given four assists in 31 Turkish Super Lig appearances for Galatasaray this season.
