El Futbolero claim both Arsenal and Liverpool are looking at a deal for Napoli attacker Hirving Lozano this summer – but the report says the Mexican has made his decision, he wants to remain at Napoli for the 22-23 season.
Lozano, 26, has spent the last three seasons at Napoli – but his best form came in 2020-21 when he scored 14 goals. Last season, he managed just six. He started just 25 of his 37 outings, completing 90 minutes only twice.

Despite this, the report claims Liverpool and Sevilla have made enquiries to sign the 56-time Mexico star – while Arsenal are showing interest. It is unclear how much Napoli would want for a player that cost them £38.5m (Goal).
He is about to enter the final two years of his contract at Napoli. But the Mexican has made his mind up. Despite a move to Champions League side Sevilla, or both Liverpool or Arsenal, he wants to remain at Napoli next term.
Arsenal and Liverpool looking at Lozano: Mexican has made decision
While it might come as a surprise that Lozano prefers to stay at Napoli over Sevilla, Liverpool or Arsenal – here is why. Liverpool and Arsenal need cover, after Takumi Minamino left and Arsenal losing out on Raphinha.
But Lozano will be fully aware that he will be back-up, and not first choice. A similar story at Sevilla. Whereas, at Napoli, his game time is about to improve – with Dries Mertens set to leave the club on a free this week.
So, while Lozano might be seen as foolish to turn down moves to two of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, or Champions League football with Sevilla – his best move, in terms of game time, is Napoli.
