Julio Maldonado listed the top-10 young players in world football at the moment on Marca.

The journalist, who goes by the nickname ‘Maldini’, eliminated the obvious choices in Jadon Sancho, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland which made his list a lot more interesting.

Rennes’ Eduardo Camavinga took the top spot with Lyon’s wonderkid Rayan Cherki coming in second.

The biggest surprises, however, came in third and fourth spots. Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard bagged the bronze medal for his outstanding season in Scotland.

Arsenal will have to sign at least one of the two strikers

Arsenal are on the lookout for a new striker. The Gunners are at the risk of losing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer, who will soon enter the final year of his contract.

Alexandre Lacazette’s future is up in the air as well. The Frenchman was benched in favour of young Eddie Nketiah in the final few games before football came to a standstill.

Inter Milan are said to be interested in signing Lacazette this summer as a replacement to Barcelona-bound Lautaro Martinez. (Mundo Deportivo)

Arsenal will have to bring another number nine to replace one, if not both, of their current strikers.

The third and fourth-best youngsters in world football should be decent options for them but they will have to open their cheque books to make either deal happen this summer.
