A report emanating from Spain today claims that the Gunners are lining up a summer swoop for Barcelona teenager Pablo Moreno, according to Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Arsenal have poached some of the La Liga giant’s most promising youngsters in recent years, including Cesc Fabregas, Hector Bellerin and Jon Toral.

Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy continues to churn out some real gems, and it seems as though they have worked their magic yet again with Moreno.

He has already caught the eye of Arsenal, according to Mundo Deportivo, who claim that the north London outfit want to bring him to the Emirates in the summer.

Barcelona regard him extremely highly, however, and want to sit down with his agent to tie him down to a new long-term deal, in an effort to ward off potential suitors for his signature.

The Spanish side turned the tables on Arsenal earlier this year, when they signed one of the Gunners’ hottest academy prospects Marcus McGuane, tying him down to a three-and-a-half year deal at the Camp Nou.

Arsenal will be looking to get their own back immediately, however, by poaching the 15-year-old striker from Barca’s grasp.
