Arsenal, Leeds United, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers are all interested in signing Valencia starlet Yunus Musah, according to a report from 90min.

The 17-year-old was on Arsenal’s books since the age of nine until the summer of 2019. He picked up England caps in four different age groups before switching his allegiances to the USA, for whom he has two international appearances to date.

Musah left the Gunners as a free agent 15 months ago and joined Los Che, where has made a big name for himself in a short space of time.

The 17-year-old has started every game in La Liga for Valencia this term and has one goal to his name. His strike against Getafe at the start of this month made him the club’s youngest goal-scorer this century. He also became the youngest ever Englishman to score in La Liga, which is a fantastic achievement.

Spanish journalist Tomas Roncero tweeted that Musah reminded him of a young Kylian Mbappe, who burst onto the scene as a teenager at Monaco. The Frenchman has gone on to become one of the best players in the world, and the former Arsenal man will be aiming to do the same.

This is not the first time the Gunners have let go of a serious talent. Serge Gnabry, Donyell Malen, Ismael Bennacer and Jeff Reine-Adelaide were all at Arsenal at one point. But they were allowed to leave and are now making incredible names for themselves across Europe.

Musah is the latest name on that list, and it looks like Arsenal are trying to correct their mistake. The report claims that Gunners scouts have been keeping an eye on the youngster ever since he left the club, and they are all impressed with his development.

Arsenal are not the only ones in the race. Premier League rivals Everton, Leeds United and Wolves are also interested in signing the young winger, but Valencia are readying a new contract to secure his future.

However, Los Che are in a tricky financial position. They were forced to sell a number of their key players in the summer, and one of the Premier League quartet could take advantage of that and take him away in one of the next two transfer windows.
