Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Dimitri Payet from West Ham United in the January transfer window.
Arsenal are interested in signing Dimitri Payet from West Ham United in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that the Gunners will make a move for Payet if they are still flying high and the Hammers are fighting for survival in the Premier League in January.
Leaving West Ham for London rivals Arsenal will certainly be a step-up for the France international midfielder.

However, one should ask whether the Hammers would be willing to part company with their star player in the middle of the season.
Payet has not been in great form so far this campaign, but the 29-year-old remains West Ham’s talisman.
The Frenchman has scored one goal and created 46 chances in 11 Premier League appearances so far this season.

The former Marseille attacking midfielder is clearly creating chances, but he does have to do more.
With West Ham in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season, the club cannot afford to lose someone like Payet in January.
As for Arsenal, do the Gunners need yet another attacking midfielder?
