Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Schalke’s Max Meyer in the summer transfer window.
Schalke attacking midfielder Max Meyer is one of the best young players in Europe, and there is little surprise that he has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to a recent report in Bild, Tottenham are interested in signing the 21-year-old Germany international in the summer transfer window (click here to read more).
Meyer has scored one goal and created 25 chances in 24 Bundesliga matches for Schalke so far this season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the youngster scored five goals and created 45 chances in 32 league appearances for the Royal Blues.
Tottenham are not the only Premier League club who are reported to be interested in Meyer, though.
According to a report in The Sun last month, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is keeping tabs on the youngster, who, according to the report, has been dubbed the German Dele Alli.
The Sun has now claimed that Arsenal have now joined the race for the German youngster, with the report stating: “Meyer – rated as thee German Dele Alli, has starred for club and country this season and was watched by top Arsenal spy Francis Cagigao last week.”
It seems that there will be fierce competition for Meyer in the summer transfer window. Tottenham will probably have the edge over Arsenal and Liverpool, as they can offer Champions League football as well as London lifestyle.
