Arsenal have a move for Manchester United central defender Eric Bailly lined up, according to The Sun.

It has been reported that Bailly will join Arsenal from Premier League rivals United in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners will reportedly start negotiations with the Red Devils at £20 million for the 25-year-old Ivory Coast international.

“Unai Emery has been an admirer of the ex-Villarreal defender after facing him in La Liga while coaching Sevilla,” adds the report in The Sun.

Good signing for Arsenal?

Bailly has been on the books of United since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Spanish club Villarreal for a transfer fee reported by The Sun to be worth £30 million.

The former Espanyol star has not had the best of times during his time at Old Trafford so far, but the defender is very talented and has a lot of quality.

Arsenal could do with a central defender or two in the summer transfer window, and the 25-year-old – who earns £80,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – will be a smart signing, especially if the North London outfit are able to secure his services for £20m.
