Arsenal are lining up their targets for the January transfer window and Norwich City’s Emiliano Buendia is on their wish list, according to Football London.
The Gunners are in trouble having won just one of their last six Premier League games. They have lost three in a row at the Emirates and Mikel Arteta needs to turn things around as quickly as possible.
The January transfer window is now only a month away and Arsenal need to bring in a creator. Arteta’s side are struggling to create any opportunities for their attackers, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has barely had a chance to put away in the last few games.
Arsenal have been linked with a whole host of big names to solve their creative issues. Houssem Aouar and Dominik Szoboszlai are the players many fans want, but Arteta is reportedly a big admirer of Championship star Emi Buendia.
The Argentine has been linked with a move to a big club since the start of last season. He was one of the few Norwich players who stood out in what was a terrible campaign for the club last term.
Buendia stayed with the Canaries and has played well. He has scored twice and has five assists to his name in just 10 appearances this season. The Argentine is one of Norwich’s best players, but could Arsenal lure him away next month?

The 23-year-old is a fantastic talent and he showed what he is capable of in the Premier League. He created 3.3 chances per 90 minutes in the top-flight last term; only Kevin de Bruyne managed more (Football London).
Nicolas Pepe is Arsenal’s best creator at the moment but he has mainly been used in the Europa League. Willian hasn’t been a hit yet, while none of their midfielders have been able to pick a defence-splitting pass.
Buendia may well be the answer to Arteta’s problems in January. However, his contract does not expire until 2024 and Norwich will not let him go for cheap.
