Arsenal are interested in Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell, according to The London Evening Standard.

It has been reported that the Gunners are looking for a left-back to provide competition for Kieran Tierney.

Arsenal are considering a move for Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand and are also scouting Mitchell, according to the report, which has added that several other Premier League clubs are interested in the 21-year-old left-back.

The Gunners as well as other clubs in the Premier League have reportedly scouted the youngster this season.

Good signing for Arsenal?

Tierney has established himself as the first-choice left-back at Arsenal and is playing well at the moment.

The Scotland international is unlikely to be dislodged from his status in the team, but Arsenal could do with a capable back-up.

Mitchell has broken into the first team at Palace and has shown what he is capable of, and there is no surprise that the Gunners are reportedly interested in him.

According to WhoScored, Mitchell has played 10 times in the Premier League so far this season and played four times in the league for Palace last season.
