According to a report by the Mail, Arsenal are interested in Manchester City wingers Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez.
The Gunners certainly need some attacking reinforcements this summer, and bringing in two players from the best team in the Premier League would certainly give them some extra firepower.
Mikel Arteta of course knows the two players well, having worked with them at City during his time there as a coach.
Arsenal need a couple of big-name signings if they’re going to be in the top four race next season, and these two are exactly the type of players that could catapult the Gunners back to where they want to be.
Indeed, Mahrez and Sterling both have the ability to single-handedly win Arsenal points.

We all know how good they are. Mahrez is a former PFA Player of the Year who once finished seventh on the Ballon d’Or ranking, while Sterling has proven himself to be one of the most lethal attackers in England, consistently hitting around 20 goals a season for City.
Whether or not this deal comes to fruition or not remains to be seen, but if the Gunners can pull off this double swoop, they’ll certainly be a better side for it.
