Arsenal and West Ham United are keeping an ‘increasingly keen’ eye on Brentford forward striker Ivan Toney, Football London report.
Arsenal and West Ham have both been linked heavily with the striker going into the summer transfer window.
And it seems that their interest has only grown as the weeks has progressed.
Toney is enjoying a potential record breaking season in the Championship, after bagging 25 goals in his first campaign as a regular starter in the second tier.
Toney’s total is actually greater than the combined amount of goals that Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang have managed this season.
Toney has adapted to the jump up the divisions seamlessly, and now Premier League clubs are taking notice.
With Arsenal seemingly set to replace Lacazette in the summer, Toney could prove a younger and cheaper alternative to him.

West Ham are also looking for a new number nine, after failing to land a striker in January.
And although Toney has never been given a run of games at Premier League level before, his displays in the second tier suggest that he could well be a prolific goalscorer even at the top level.
