Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 champion Christopher Nkunku could reportedly reunite with Arsenal head coach Unai Emery in the Premier League.

Arsenal have entered initial talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku this summer, as reported by The Standard.
Nkunku is just one of a number of highly-rated playmakers who have been linked with a Gunners side set to bid farewell to Aaron Ramsey in just a few weeks’ time.
But the Frenchman has the advantage of being well regarded by Unai Emery, who worked with him during a two-year spell as the coach of Ligue 1 champions PSG between 2016 and 2018.
The Standard points out that Arsenal tried and failed to sign Nkunku on loan in January, instead making the disastrous decision to bring in Denis Suarez on a short-term deal from Barcelona.

And the North London giants would have to pay around £17 million for the 21-year-old this summer with PSG willing to sell, given that Nkunku has been reluctant to extend a contract that runs until 2020.
The report adds that Arsenal have even held initial talks with the France U21 international, who impressed Emery with his versatility and work rate last season with the former Sevilla and Valencia boss describing him as ‘quality’ (Get Football News France).
