Arsenal are in talks with Nordsjaelland starlet Zidan Sertdimar as they look to beat Ajax and a whole host of Bundesliga clubs to his sought-after signature, as reported by SportBILD.
One of the most exciting youngsters in Scandinavian football was always destined to play football at the highest level.
He is named after Zinedine Zidane after all – minus the ‘e’, of course.
While Sertdemir has a long way to go if he wants to emulate the achievements of the 1998 World Cup winner, the gifted attacking midfielder is certainly on the right track.
According to SportBILD, the Denmark youth international is a target for Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Monchengladbach, Hoffenheim and a Wolfsburg side well-placed to secure a return to the Champions League next season.
Sertdemir has also been in discussions over a move to Arsenal and Ajax, the Dutch champions famed for providing a pathway for the next generation of superstars.

The report adds that Sertdemir, who is already valued at a seven-figure sum, is all-but guaranteed to leave Nordsjaelland this summer.
Unfortunately for Arsenal, his family would prefer a move to Germany with fellow Scandinavian Erling Haaland, who continues to develop at a fearsome rate in the yellow and black of Dortmund, acting as an inspiration.
“(The price-tag) is worth it,” explained Kim Engstrom, the youth coach of Nordsjaelland’s rivals Odense BK, claiming that Sertdemir is the best player at his age in the whole of Denmark.
