According to Goal, Arsenal are set to sell defender Konstantinos Mavropanos to Stuttgart in a deal worth around £7million.
Arsenal are pressing ahead with their attempts to sign Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White, but that many mean other centre backs are sacrificed.
One player now likely to go is Mavropanos, who looks poised to sign a permanent deal with Stuttgart after a successful loan spell.
Arsenal’s talks to sell Mavropanos progressing well
It’s stated that talks are ongoing over the deal, with Stuttgart’s negotiations being led by former Arsenal man Sven Mislintat – who signed Mavropanos in the first place.
Arsenal are described as being ‘hopeful’ of selling Mavropanos in the next few days, adding a small chunk of cash to their budget.
Mavropanos spent last season on loan at Stuttgart, shining in the Bundesliga – and he will now call the club home for good with his permanent move.

Profit for Arsenal
Arsenal paid just £2million to sign Mavropanos from PAS Giannina in his native Greece back in 2018, so they will now make a £5million profit.
That’s not bad at all considering Mavropanos only played seven Premier League games for Arsenal and eight in all competitions.
That money could now go towards signing White, and whilst Mavropanos has potential, Arsenal fans would surely love to see White arrive this summer.
