According to The Telegraph, Arsenal haven’t given up hope of convincing Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard to join the club this summer.
It’s claimed that Leicester City are the favourites to sign Edouard, given that boss Brendan Rodgers worked with him at Celtic.
However, Arsenal still have hope that Edouard can be tempted to North London instead, and he recently switched to the same agency as Kieran Tierney.
That could be important for Arsenal as they look to win the race, and their hopes tie in with a striking overhaul this summer.
Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are entering the final year of their contracts, and it’s conceivable that the duo will be sold.
Edouard could come in as a striker for the future, and a fee of around £15million to £20million will be needed to sign the Frenchman.

Edouard, 23, has hit 20 goals and five assists this season, whilst he was simply sensational last term with 28 goals and 19 assists in all competitions.
Arsenal won’t have this easy given Rodgers’ ties to Edouard, but the striker should look at Tierney’s outstanding development at Arsenal and want the same for himself.
