According to the Guardian, Arsenal are interested in signing Shakhtar Donetsk forward Manor Solomon and could make an offer in the summer.
The Guardian‘s report adds that the Gunners have already held talks with the Ukrainian side regarding their 21-year-old winger.
It is also said that Arsenal have scouted him heavily, and could firm up their interest with a bid during pre-season.
Solomon’s profile across Europe has risen thanks to some stunning displays in the Champions League, where he’s troubled some of the best sides.
The 14-cap Israel international scored against Manchester City in Europe’s greatest club competition back in November 2019.
This time around, Solomon netted against Real Madrid – both at the Santiago Bernabeu, and also at the Olimpisky.

The Guardian say that he is likely to remain with Shakhtar Donetsk this month as Arsenal do not have the funds to make any expensive additions.
So, what type of player is Solomon?
Well, the man who Shakhtar Donetsk paid £5 million for can play anywhere across the frontline, according to the Guardian.

Additionally, Ukrainian football expert Andrew Todos described the Israeli as a ‘very good dribbler’ with a ‘low centre of gravity’.
101 Great Goals quote Todos as saying: ‘He is predominantly a very good dribbler. Very technical with a low centre of gravity. He likes to keep the ball at his feet and can take on a number of players, beat them and have the strength to hold off players as well.’
By all accounts, it seems like Arsenal have a very exciting attacker in their sights.
