According to The Express, Pedro Neto is amongst the wingers Arsenal hold a concrete interest in heading into the January transfer window.
The north London club have been in the market for a new winger for a few months now, and it looks like they’re going to firm up their interest in a new wide player this winter.
Of course, as many know, Mykhaylo Mudryk is Edu’s top target as negotiations continue regarding the Shakhtar star, but Arsenal do also have contingency plans.
One player that is on their shortlist is Neto, and this is a very interesting rumour.

David Ornstein reported in the summer that Arsenal were keen on Neto, and it seems as though this interest has persisted into the winter.
Not only is Neto a fantastic player – being described as ‘world class’ in the past, he’s also got a real affinity towards Arsenal.
Indeed, the Portuguese winger admitted to TalkSPORT last year that he actually supported Arsenal growing up.
“When I was a kid growing up watching English football my favourite team was Arsenal,” Neto said.
“Because with Arsene Wenger I thought besides winning trophies they played very good football.
“I’m with Wolverhampton and am very happy! Of course, it’s the best club in England now.”
This is one that Arsenal could genuinely get over the line next month, but sadly, there is one, rather sizeable, hurdle.
Neto has been suffering with injuries for quite some time now, and given that he’s yet to return to action for Wolves, there are questions around whether or not he could make an immediate impact for Arsenal or even pass a medical.
Mudryk is the number one target for Arsenal, but if the Gunners can’t land the Ukrainian, don’t be surprised if they switch their attentions to Neto.
