According to Sky Sports, Liverpool have tracked Arsenal teenage forward Folarin Balogun.

It has been reported that Brentford, who will play in the Championship playoff this season, are interested in signing the 19-year-old forward in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners want £8 million for the teenager, who has been tracked by Liverpool and clubs in Germany, according to the report.

It has been further claimed that Balogun has refused to sign a new contract at the North London outfit and is happy to see out his current deal, which runs out in the summer of 2021.

Promising talent

According to Sky Sports, Balogun scored 10 goals in 15 Premier League 2 appearances for the Arsenal Under-23s this past season.

The youngster, described as a ‘pacey forward’ on Arsenal’s official website, has not played a first-team game for the Gunners, but there is no doubt that he is a hugely talented player with a promising future ahead of him.

A move to Liverpool either this summer or the next would see him play for their youth team or warm the substitutes’ bench, but a switch to Brentford could see him get some decent playing time.
