According to La Repubblica, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have made a bid for Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie, who has reportedly agreed personal terms with Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United.
Arsenal have bid for Leeds United target Weston McKennie
La Repubblica have reported that Arsenal have made an offer to Juventus worth €30 million (£26.5 million) for USA international midfielder McKennie.
However, Arsenal’s Premier League rivals Leeds are in talks over a move for the the 24-year-old, according to the report in the Italian publication.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that McKennie wants to move to Leeds and has already agreed personal terms with the West Yorkshire club.

Could the Gunners sign Weston McKennie?
In our view, Arsenal could still be able to sign Weston McKennie from Juventus ahead of Leeds United in the final days of the January transfer window.
Yes, the American star has agreed personal terms with Leeds, but the transfer is not official yet.
Leeds and Juventus are still in talks.
So, there is a window of opportunity for Arsenal.
Like Juventus, Arsenal are one of the biggest clubs in the world and are a global brand.
So, we think that a move to the Emirates Stadium would be very appealing to McKennie, especially as the Gunners could win the Premier League title this season and Leeds could get relegated to the Championship at the end of the campaign.
