According to ESPN, Arsenal do not want to sell Matteo Guendouzi in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that during a recent meeting between Arsenal and the midfielder, the Gunners told him that they have faith in him and do not want him to leave.
The 21-year-old said to the North London club that he wants to play regularly in the first team to continue his development and progress and turn out for France at the European Championship next summer.
A report in L’Equipe this week claimed that Guendouzi wants to leave Arsenal in the summer transfer window, and that the Premier League club are willing to sell him for €40 million (£36.37 million).
Arsenal stay
Guendouzi is a very good midfielder who is progressing well at Arsenal, and given that he is only 21 years of age, it would make sense for the North London outfit to keep hold of him.
The France Under-21 international does have room for improvement, has to be more consistent and needs to be calmer on the pitch, but he is a player who can be an asset for the Gunners in years to come.
