According to the Express, Arsenal have held talks with Darwin Nunez’s agents about a potential summer move to the Emirates for the Uruguayan.
The Gunners certainly need to bring a striker through the door this summer. Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah’s contracts are up, while the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left the Gunners looking very light up top.
The London club have been linked with plenty of new forwards from Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Jonathan David, but it seems as though Nunez is one of their main targets.

The Express reckon that Nunez’s representatives have already held talks with Arsenal, and if this is true, Arsenal fans should be very excited.
At the age of just 22, the South American has been lighting Portugal up. He has 20 league goals to his name this season, and he’s also netted four in the Champions League.
There’s a reason his agent has stated that the striker is ‘destined for great things’ he’s a top talent and he’s proving that on almost a weekly basis at this point.
Uruguay have provided the world with some truly exceptional number nines over the past couple of decades from Diego Forlan to Luis Suarez to Edinson Cavani, and it looks like Nunez could be the next attacking superstar out of that part of the world.
