Arsenal are interested in signing Santos defender Kaiky, according to Goal Brazil.
It has been reported that Arsenal have been scouting the young defender in Brazil and have asked for more information about the 17-year-old.
Ajax are also interested in the Brazilian, who has a release clause of €70 million (£61.04 million) in his contract that runs until 2023, according to the report.
If Arsenal were to pay that much for the teenager, then they would make him the fifth most expensive defender in the world and ahead of Aymeric Laporte, who cost Manchester City £57 million in transfer fees in January 2018, according to BBC Sport.
Goal Brazil has added that Santos rate Kaiky highly and see him as a phenomenon and a player who has a future at a big European club.
The Brazilian giants think that the teenager could bring in above €10 million (£8.72 million) at the moment, according to the report.

Do Arsenal need another (young) defender?
It is unlikely that any club will pay Kaiky’s release clause, and even for €10 million (£8.72 million), it has to be asked whether Arsenal need another (young) centre-back.
Of course, the Gunners would not want to miss out on a promising young defender, but the North London club have enough players in that position.
True, David Luiz is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season, but manager Mikel Arteta still has Gabriel, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and Pablo Mari to call upon, while William Saliba and Konstantinos Mavropanos are out on loan.
