Napoli are reportedly in talks to sign Chelsea talent Armando Broja amid interest from Arsenal in their star attacker Victor Osimhen, who could leave Italy this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A side are interested in signing the ‘electrifying’ Albanian international, who enjoyed a breakout year in the Premier League last season with Southampton, where Broja asserted himself as one of Europe’s most exciting striking talents in a very productive loan spell on the south coast.

Despite his quality and potential, Chelsea are open to selling Broja this summer, with numerous English sides interested in signing the 20-year-old attacker, however, Napoli have now initiated contact with the Blues to bring the youngster to southern Italy.

Napoli have recently concluded business with Chelsea this window following the sale of Kalidou Koulibaly to the west London giants, with the Serie A side now eyeing one of Thomas Tuchel’s best talents in Broja, an update that could interest Arsenal and their chase of Osimhen.

Reports suggest that the Gunners are interested in signing the Nigerian international this summer, with the Napoli star valued at £80m should Arsenal look to make a move for the attacker, and the Partenopei could be open to selling their exciting forward if they land Broja.

Indeed, the Albanian is three years younger than Osimhen and could be an incredible piece of business for Napoli if they are to sell their star striker for big money and replace him at a fraction of the cost, a decision which could help Arsenal land the African talisman.

Broja has been one of Europe’s hottest properties this summer, as has Osimhen, who could now realistically leave Napoli should the Serie A side sign the Chelsea talent, a move that could allow Arsenal to secure one of the best attackers in Europe.

Indeed, Arsenal have done well this summer to sign Gabriel Jesus, but ask any fan of the north London side, and they will tell you that Mikel Arteta’s side need more than the Brazilian, and Osimhen could be the extra help should Napoli sign Broja in the coming days.
