Arsenal have been handed a double fitness boost by Football London, as both Thomas Partey and Kieran Tierney could return for their game against Leeds United.
Arsenal are set to play Leeds on Sunday, and it seems that they will be able to do with a largely fit squad.
Football London have reported that Partey should be back, despite concerns that he had injured himself after he limped off in Arsenal’s game against Aston Villa.
In a question and answer session the same publication also stated that Kieran Tierney is hopeful of playing a part.
If Tierney can return by the weekend that should make Arteta’s side’s defence look much stronger.
Cedric has filled in well at left-back, but it isn’t his strongest position and he struggled in Arsenal’s last outing at Aston Villa.

Tierney clearly provides Arsenal with more thrust and aggression down the left-hand side, and that could be crucial against a Leeds side who are a tough test to play against.
Leeds actually overtook Arsenal in the Premier League table last night, but Arteta’s side will go back ahead of the Yorkshire club if they are to take the three points at the weekend.
