Arsenal are taking a first-hand look at Dantouma Toure, with the Colorado Rapids winger training at London Colney ahead of a potential transfer, according to football.london.
Mikel Arteta wants the Gunners to scout potential signings from North and South American teams amid new Brexit regulations. It is expected to be easier for those arriving from clubs in the United States, Mexico, Brazil or Argentina to obtain a Governing Body Endorsement.
Players arriving from outside the UK must obtain a GBE to play in England. It will be easier for those established in their national sides, otherwise players will need 15 points to qualify based on the standard of competition in the league and tournaments they currently play in.

Colorado Rapids talent Toure is training with Arsenal as the north Londoners run the rule over his potential. The 17-year-old is considered one of America’s brightest prospects after standing out early on at Trenton Central High School.
New York Red Bulls signed Toure in 2018 and he played for the Major League Soccer side’s B-team in the USL Championship in 2020. The winger scored three goals and laid on three assists over 13 outings in the competition before joining Colorado Rapids.
Rapids paid RBNY $50,000 (£34k) in General Allocation Money for the teenager. The Dick’s Sporting Goods Park club will also owe RBNY a sell-on fee if he joins a club outside MLS.

Toure facing uncertain Colorado Rapids future amid Arsenal interest
Colorado Rapids have not yet decided if they will sell Toure in the next transfer window, despite the forward training with Arsenal at the Premier League side’s training ground.
Toure’s visit to Arsenal is part of the winger’s off-season training schedule and he will also train with Rangers. If no move occurs, he will return to Rapids and try to enter their side.
The Guinea-born talent has so far played three-minutes in the Colorado first-team after his bow in July. Robin Fraser briefly fielded Toure in an MLS clash with San Jose Earthquakes.
