It has been reported that London club Arsenal and Fulham are watching Woodman, who is out of contract at Newcastle in 2020.

Scouts from the Gunners and the Cottagers have been at reserves games to watch the 21-year-old goalkeeper in action this season, according to the report.

The 21-year-old goalkeeper is out of contention for the Newcastle first team at the moment and admitted to The Chronicle that he is in a “bad situation” at St. James’ Park.

These comments suggest that the England Under-21 international goalkeeper would be willing to leave Newcastle on loan in January, and reported interest from Arsenal and Fulham does raise doubts on his future at St. James’ Park.
