Arsenal are interested in signing Yuri Alberto from Internacional in the summer transfer window, according to Globo Esporte.

It has been reported that Arsenal have been following the 20-year-old Brazilian forward for the past four years.

Brazilian club Inter are reportedly looking for €15 million (£12.89 million) as transfer fee for the youngster, according to the report.

However, there is one problem for Arsenal.

Barcelona.

Globo Esporte has claimed that Spanish and European giants Barcelona are also interested in the Brazil Under-23 international forward.

Barcelona have the youngster on their list of players they want this summer.

But, encouragingly for Arsenal, the La Liga outfit have not made any offer.

So, if Arsenal want to bring the Brazilian to the Emirates Stadium, then they need to make a bid soon.

Now, the big question will be whether Arsenal need to sign a 20-year-old forward.

Yes, Alberto is a talented young player who would not cost a lot, but if Arsenal want to sign a forward, then they should try to get someone more experienced who will be able to make an immediate impact on the team.

Another option for Arsenal could be to sell Eddie Nketiah and sign Alberto as his replacement.

But where would that leave Folarin Balogun?
