Arsenal are reportedly set to sign Celtic left back Kieran Tierney.

According to The Scottish Sun, Arsenal have finally agreed a £25million deal to sign Kieran Tierney, and the Celtic ace will undergo a medical tomorrow.

Tierney, 22, has been an Arsenal target all summer, but they’ve so far failed to convince Celtic into selling, with their payment structure something of a concern.

Now though, with less than 24 hours of the English transfer window to go, Arsenal appear to have finally struck a £25million deal with the Bhoys for their star left back.

It’s claimed that Tierney has been spotted with his agent at Edinburgh Airport, and is heading down to London to thrash out terms and undergo a medical tomorrow.

Arsenal are expected to be busy before the deadline, and finally landing Scottish international Tierney is the move that Unai Emery has wanted.

Nacho Monreal is ageing and may have a future at centre back, whilst Sead Kolasinac hasn’t shown that he’s able to be trusted as a left back in a back four long-term.

Tierney can now come in and play immediately, whilst also being Celtic’s first-choice left back for the next five to 10 years.

It’s a blow for Celtic to lose their homegrown star, especially as he’s a lifelong Bhoys fan, but they have already landed one left back in Boli Bolingoli, and have weeks left to find another left back with their £25million windfall.
