Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want Mario Gotze.

Tottenham Hotspur (reportedly) want to sign Mario Gotze, as do Everton, West Ham United and Newcastle United among other clubs, but Arsenal are claimed to be the favourites for the Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder.
According to Football.London, Tottenham are keeping tabs on the Germany international, who is reported to be on the radar of Arsenal, Leicester, Newcastle, Everton and West Ham by The Mirror.

Arsenal, though, are the favourites for Gotze, according to The Sunderland Echo, which also claims that the former Bayern Munich star is rated at £18 million.
Do Arsenal need Mario Gotze?
Arsenal do have a good attacking unit, and in Mesut Ozil, the Gunners have one of the most creative footballers in the world.

There is no real need for Gotze, who is not the player he was in his first spell at Dortmund, although there is no doubt over his quality and calibre.
While the 26-year-old, who won the Bundesliga twice with Dortmund and thrice with Bayern Munich and the World Cup with Germany in 2014, would be a good signing for Tottenham, especially for £18m, there is no need for him at Spurs either.
