Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United are all said to be chasing the midfielder.
Arsenal, Everton and West Ham United are being put off the signing of Steven N’Zonzi, the Sun reports on page 60 of its printed edition on Friday.
It is claimed the Sevilla midfielder is keen on a return to England, where he previously played for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City and where his son still lives.
And while the Spanish side are said to be prepared to sanction N’Zonzi’s sale if their £26 million asking price is met, the Sun reports that the player’s agent and father, Fidele N’Zonzi, has told suitors another £2 million is required on top of that.
According to the Gambling Times, N’Zonzi favours a move to London, where Arsenal and West Ham are based.
But Everton should not be discounted, given that it was their manager, Sam Allardyce, who brought the Frenchman to England initially.
N’Zonzi, who turned 29 last week, earned his first caps for France earlier this year.
