Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are determined to sign two England international midfielders in the summer transfer window.
The Athletic are reporting this morning that Arsenal want to sign Mason Mount as well as Declan Rice in the summer of 2023.
Arsenal have made West Ham United and England international midfielder Rice their “main target”.
Journalist Dean Jones has reported in GiveMeSport that West Ham want £100 million upfront for Rice.
The Athletic have claimed that Arsenal “want to add creativity in a more advanced position”, and that is why they are keen on Chelsea and England international midfielder Mason Mount.
According to the report, “Arsenal are determined to sign the England internationals”.
The same publication reported in March that Chelsea will demand £70 million for the 24-year-old.

Ambitious from Arsenal
In our view, it is very ambitious from Arsenal to try to sign both Mason Mount and Declan Rice in the same transfer window.
Mount and Rice are two of the best midfielders around, and we can understand why Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta would want him.
Rice has the potential to become a world-class defensive midfielder in the coming years, while Mount will go from strength to strength.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal do manage to get the two players.
Spending £170 million on just two players in a single transfer window would be something for Arsenal.
