Well, Danilo is seemingly firmly still on Arsenal’s radar.
The Brazilian midfielder, who has an £86 million release clause, was a Gunners target toward the end of the summer transfer window.
Late on, Arsenal failed with a £20 million offer for the Palmeiras starlet.
And according to The Express, going back in for the 21-year-old is a possibility in January, with Edu ‘ready to back’ manager Mikel Arteta with additional signings.
However, the report adds that the North Londoners may well ‘shelve’ their interest until the summer window.

Arsenal are top of the Premier League standings and a sustained title effort might well hinge on what they do – or don’t do – during the winter transfer window.
With that in mind, fans of the Emirates Stadium outfit would much prefer to see Edu bring in his compatriot in January.
But having said that, if they have a better shot at doing so during the summer then honestly, that’s the more realistic time.
Edu and Arteta are very long-term thinkers, the type of resist impulses and although that isn’t all that exciting for Arsenal supporters, it should be long term.
William Saliba is a very good example of their long-term thinking and although Danilo is a different story, and a different player, the principle remains in the same in the sense that the Arsenal duo are prepared to wait rather than strike immediately.
