According to The Daily Mail, Galatasaray have offered a three-year deal to Crystal Palace defender Patrick van Aanholt.
It’s claimed that Galatasaray are showing ‘serious interest’ in Van Aanholt, and have now offered a major pay rise on his £55,000-a-week Palace deal.
Van Aanholt is out of contract this summer, meaning he is free to talk to non-English clubs about a pre-contract agreement.
A move to Turkey could see Van Aanholt play Champions League football next season given that Galatasaray are top of the league, and that may be too good to turn down.
Van Aanholt would actually be open to staying at Palace, but the 30-year-old has reached an impasse in talks and may instead leave.
This may be of interest to Edu and Arsenal, as the Gunners looked into a late January deal for Van Aanholt according to The Mirror.

The Gunners undoubtedly need to find another natural left back to support Kieran Tierney this summer, and Van Aanholt would fit the bill.
He wouldn’t break the bank either on a free transfer, but with Galatasaray able to offer a deal now – whilst Arsenal can’t – the Gunners could miss out.
