Stan Kroenke has a lot of Arsenal fans to win back after the failed European Super League effort.
Arsenal tried and failed to break away and join 11 of Europe’s biggest clubs in a separate continental league that has no relegation.
Gunners fans were outraged by their club’s plans and have protested outside the Emirates Stadium in recent weeks.
Arsenal supporters are calling on Kroenke to sell the club amid speculation that Daniel Ek, the Spotify founder, is set to make a £1.8 billion offer.
But Kroenke Sports Entertainment has been resolute in its statements that the Emirates Stadium club is not for sale.
And now the American billionaire has a plan to win back the fanbases’ affections.
According to The Sun, Kroenke could sanction the signing of ‘two or three big players’ during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal announced a loss of £47.8million only in March so if this is true, and the Missouri-born businessman finances three big signings, then that might well start to mend these wounds.
