Arsenal coaches were clapping Dani Ceballos after the game for the intensity that he showed during the warm-down, Football London say.

Some of Arsenal’s players returned to the Anfield pitch after the game, and Ceballos was one of the players who was put through his paces.

The Spaniard actually wasn’t selected to start by Mikel Arteta, and was only introduced as a second-half substitute.

Arsenal’s coaches, therefore, took the opportunity to get some extra fitness work into Ceballos after the game.

And Football London suggest that they were very impressed by what they saw from the Real Madrid loanee.

Ceballos’s cameo was actually very impressive, and he could well return to Arsenal’s starting line-up for their next match.

Ceballos almost set-up Alexandre Lacazette to score the equaliser on Merseyside, but the French striker missed the opportunity, and the Gunners ended up falling to a 3-1 defeat.
