Celtic defender Kieran Tierney may be closing in on a move to Arsenal.

According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are now closing in on a deal for Celtic left back Kieran Tierney, having restructured their move.
The Gunners signed William Saliba and Dani Ceballos last week, and are now pushing for two more major signings before this week is over.
Lille winger Nicolas Pepe is set for a club-record move to the Emirates Stadium, and Unai Emery is looking to finally snap up Celtic defender Tierney too.
It’s been a lengthy, drawn-out saga with Tierney, as Arsenal’s offers so far have fallen short due to not offering enough cash up front.
Now though, it’s believed that Arsenal have restructured their bid, offering more cash up front in a total package of £25million, which Celtic may well be tempted to accept.
It’s even claimed that left back Tierney – a boyhood Celtic fan – has asked the club to let him go in order to join the Gunners, and a move may be closer than ever.

Arsenal have seen Nacho Monreal break down a little in recent years, and his future may well be as a centre back in the later stages of his career, with Sead Kolasinac clearly not trusted to play left back in a back four on a regular basis.
Tierney would solve those problems, after the 22-year-old starred in four seasons in the Celtic first team, but seeing him push for a move to Arsenal will be galling for many, just months after Brendan Rodgers left for Leicester City.
